We know we've been a bit remiss in our correspondence as of late. We haven't even sent out our change of address postcards, (don't worry, we didn't forget about you!) We also know we've been pretty light on postings since the big move.
The truth is, we've both been either sick or working too much most of May. But this weekend we decided to relax, take a hike in Prospect Park and read the paper by the lake. It was pretty nice, we wish you could have joined us. Shortly after this shot Karen put her shoes back on and ran from some geese. Erik would've liked a few witnesses.

Not Even Remotely Accurate
This is nowhere near an Ocean, unless they mean the East River, but even that's considerably out of view.
The Burgs did not venture inside. Turns out, we probably made the right choice, the reviews on Yelp were shockingly poor. But really, when a restaurant starts off lying to you before you get in the door, what do you expect?

B Team...at best.
Another childhood favorite pillaged. Last time, it was this one. If they make a "Fall Guy" movie, Erik's head is going to explode.
Note to Liam Neeson: You've already been the remake Zeus, now the remake Hannibal...what's going on? You were in "Schindler's List"!
And you are no Colt Seavers.

Fancy Cookin', Pt. 3
Tonight, Karen made soft shell crabs for the first time and they were delicious. She tackled the endeavor with ease and served them on a slightly toasted bun with mayonnaise and a slice of tomato. Karen thought 6 crabs might've been too many . . . Erik felt there were just enough.
Fancy Cookin', Pt. 2
Is that a stuffed artichoke on a bed of couscous? No, I'm sorry, it's not. It's a stuffed artichoke on a bed of Israeli couscous. And it was delicious.
More free books!
Good news...more free books were spotted near Clinton and Carroll. Books included: "Jammin'," "In White America," and "The Songs of Paul Simon."
